Clean & Clear Deep Action
Clean & Clear products can be found on just about every drug store shelf in America. They make so many different products, it can be hard to know which to try. I recently tried out their Deep Action Cream Cleanser because I had seen a review saying that it will get rid of excess oil and leave skin feeling fresh. Since I suffer from very oily skin, I thought it would be good to help prevent pimples too.
After using it for a couple weeks, I can say it does reduce oil temporarily, but when I use it in the morning, my face is oily again by the afternoon. It makes my skin feel ‘tingly fresh’ while I wash with it, but that feeling goes away almost as soon as I rinse.
I noticed that it will not wash make up off at all, which is very irritating! I had to go purchase a second cleanser just to remove my make up before I wash with the Clean & Clear. I’m not enjoying using two cleansers at all…it just seems like too much work when one cleanser should be able to do the job.
As for my acne, this Clean & Clear is not helping much at all. Maybe a little, but so little I can barely notice. I’m still sporting three or four pimples at any given time. I was hoping to find a cleanser that would keep my oil down, really clean my face, and prevent breakouts, but Clean & Clear has been a big disappointment in all three areas.
